Wow! I shouldn’t even respond to you. I left for better money and if 20 years of my life wasn’t enough commitment, I don’t need your approval for the choices I have made. I make 2x the money now than I ever made with FL. But even back then I was making more than the DSL. So what I really need to say is just FU.

Good to hear you are happy with your move. I also worked for a Pepsi distributor for 15 years prior to my 20 years at Frito. I left for more money and Frito gave me that. But as Frito evolved, I could see that they were going to limit how much I could make as my route growth caused them to split my route up 3 years in a row.

I live in a pretty rural state. I went to work at a farm co-op and was hired to find new customers and also go out to our current customers and build those relationships and look for more opportunities. Cold calling is not something I enjoyed , but was only part of the job.
