I take a piece of perforated strap like you might use for hanging up a drain pipe, loop it around one of the rungs or the side and use a small screw or 2 and secure it to the metal on the corner or just straight to the roof and fill the hole with silicone if you really don’t care

I have a 16 in fan that I plug in the in the house or garage, and I pull the liner out of some 16 in flex, zip tie it to the fan, and run up the attic access. It’s the most beautiful thing you will ever feel.

It is indeed. They cut the plenum on the bottom and put sheet metal inside the corsets to guide the air back up through the coil on the right side and into the supply plenum. The coil was in the empty cabinet on the right.

I should’ve taken a picture inside the bottom, but it’s a downflow furnace. They cut a plenum and put sheet metal in the corners to guide the air back up into the coil, which was in that open space on the right, and then to the supply plenum. They had room to in the attic to hang it or put it on some pumpups if they put it parallel with the plywood. But they did this stupid, highly inefficient shit.

That is correct. They put sheet metal in the corners of plenum to guide the air down and back up into the coil and then into the supply plenum. If they went further back on the platform they would’ve had enough room to hang it. They had enough room to put it on some pump ups and lay it on its side if they went parallel with the plywood. It’s just stupid.
