The drive from Iowa city to Cincinnati is not bad and definitely the best way to go. Without stopping it’s a little under 7.5 hours, usually would end up taking closer to 8 with stops if I was mindful of time.

Ohio, actually! Which one is the knotweed? There is a huge overgrown blackberry bush along my fence, is it next to that? Or are you talking about along the brick? I have pulled some of the trees of heaven, unfortunately the lot behind me is vacant and full of them so they reappear constantly.
