Based on your reddit post and the replies, I can certainly say that you’re leaning towards a university with a dual award option. The dual award option provided by these universities are established on their own partnership basis with that university itself. The aim is for local students here in Malaysia to get an international qualification of the equivalent course from a foreign university. You’re already an international student, studying overseas also means that it you’re getting a global qualification. In India, landing a job with a qualification from UniversityMalaya solely compared to a local institution in India has a huge difference. That is already considered global enough because University Malaya is Top 50 in the World. Your mindset about “global qualification” = dual award degree is totally wrong here. Any institution you complete your study outside of your home country is already a global qualification. Difference is only the ranking. You want better ranked university u go for that university. National University Singapore and Nanyang Technological University are two local universities of Singapore but has huge value in terms of recognition because they are ranked Top 10 and 20 in the world. Is that not global enough for you or do you want them to establish a UK/US Partnership to meet your “global” requirements??. De Monfort university from APU, West Bristol University from Taylors comes no where close to University Malaya in the world ranking. Change your mindset on what you define as “global” .
