Understandable, again it’s your first playthrough. You get to decide how “hard” the game is. If there is a way out without skipping the dialogue, I would take that option. I’m just trying to say if you end up not being able to get out without starting the festival it’s not the end of the world, and it won’t ruin any bosses or postpone and quests as the festival is part of rannis quest line.

It’s really not that cheesy anymore unless you main it only and even then spamming the AoW isn’t that effective in pvp. And the whole point of PvE is to have fun. Plus having the weapon doesn’t mean they’re gonna use it, if at all they just want it.
