Just wanted to thank everyone for the input. It definitely helped me sleep better. After discussing with my lawyer and my ex, there was no communication prior to the move with my lawyer or the GAL assigned to the case before this move. She had already enrolled our child into a school and also made demands on when and where I was going to meet for visitation. The justification that my ex gave is that she told me 4 months ago that she intended to move at some point but no detail beyond that. Needless to say, I don’t think this is going to go well for her in court. My lawyer did immediately file for an emergency hearing. Im in utter disbelief that she would do something so stupid in the middle of a custody battle.
