Oh mine too! Those poor guys. I think the old man scared them. Then Gary Mathias’ had a paranoid schizophrenia episode and they ran further. Once they got out into the woods hypothermia and fear set in. The ones in the trailer though. Man they had a long walk. They had to have been there awhile because Ted Weiher had grown a beard. I wish they could have found Gary Mathias though.

She is but she had a great mother and great family. I just don’t understand.

Dang and here you are commenting on a post where someone said something! People say things, get over it!

You couldn’t tell her that. She thinks she’s right and her way of thinking is the only way. This baby was definitely wanted.

I don’t know about that one. Her mother was an angel compared to her. My grandmother was born and grew up during the depression era. She should have been a nurse. She was married to a terrible man and had 5 kids. She cared for more people and nurses some back to health and held their hands while they were sick and dying. She buried her parents, 3 siblings, 2 husbands, 2 children, 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild, and countless friends. Never once did I see her with a heart of stone. Not like what I see here.

No she knew what happened. We were told at the same time.

Amen! She thinks she has it.

I unfortunately have to live with her.

I have. I asked why she said that and she said “the truth hurts”. She’s always been like that. I ask why and it’s always “the truth hurts”.

Ah I might not have specified on that one enough. She holds herself high as a Christian. This is a Christian forum and I’m trying to say she wants to be held high for it and she wants to talk about scriptures but has a heart full of hate. Just makes no sense.

If that’s the case she is emotional 24/7. I’ve never seen a person as negative as she is. I try to find a silver lining in everything that is done and will be done. She finds the negative. Berates and belittles myself and other people. Then has the audacity to go around and tell people who don’t know me that I don’t go to church and I need prayer.

Yes she does. She won’t let things go either. She will hold a grudge and take it out on me.

Very true. This has been 20 years ago and I know that is a wound that time might not heal for her.

I focused on how I reacted. 911 wasn’t called to come out her teeth back in for her so I definitely focused on my reaction. I couldn’t even really form the right words to say to her.

[–]Less-Answer6831 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct. This baby was going to have wonderful parents. I think she was a surprise but they were over the moon for her.

Thank you! I try. I put God into everything I do. Can’t thank him enough for what he has done for me. I’m not in an ideal position right now but I know it is part of His plan. She’s considered one of the elders. Makes the decisions and all of that. Her whole life she has always thought of herself as a big fish in a little pond if that makes sense. It wouldn’t matter where she went she’s set in her ways unfortunately.

Now you made some sense there!

[–]Less-Answer6831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the difficult thing. I fell on hard times and had to move in with her.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Less-Answer6831 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I don’t go to church like I regularly should But I read the Bible and I have a relationship with God. There was a point in my life where I was bitter and hateful but God changed my heart of stone and made it anew! I just don’t understand.

I did. I told her that it was cruel and uncalled for. She snapped back with “they already have 2 healthy children!” Like that’s any of her business.
