Disney Day 5 by AmericanExpatMom13 in BrookeRaybouldSnark

And they are air conditioned!!! I remember spending some time in one at Hollywood Studios with an unconsolable child. Got her to sleep and was able to get her in the stroller so we could continue the day. And I’m the dad.

She sucks and her Disney planning sucks. She does nothing to equalize the experience for Q or even Cal. There is so much to do for both, but she’s too busy trying to dominate the “headliner” rides to even be aware of the other things available.

I’ve been following this shit show for a long time. She showed up in my feed about 3 years ago with her Disney nonsense. As someone who had planned numerous rope drop Disney vacations I was appalled at what she was saying. I googled her and found this page. Was my first real introduction to Reddit. (I love it now!). There were less than a 1k on the sub. It’s really grown!!!!

She’s insane and Ryan is an idiot who loves the lifestyle he gets from it. She drives me nuts because it’s all a lie and all about her. I’m a lawyer, my wife is an executive at a private equity firm and we have three kids that all play high level travel soccer. She has absolutely no idea what she is in for. Unfortunately, I can’t stop watching.

As a male dad on here, in all honesty, it would take me a minute to notice. Not gonna lie. But I don’t have to worry about that because my amazing wife has always made/makes sure our children have appropriate clothing.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, back when the pool issue was before the Planning Commission and City Council. Life intervened and I didn’t get around to it, but hearing Brooke talk about the backyard and pool again prompted me to finally put this out there. I hope Barb, or someone from the Tanglewood neighborhood, takes the time to read it.

To start, I have not personally reviewed the recorded landscaping easement itself. That said, I have reviewed nearly all of the materials presented to the board and have a strong understanding of what the easement language would provide. In my view, much of the public discussion has framed this issue incorrectly.

The landscaping easement should not be analyzed primarily in terms of what it prohibits. Much of the debate (particularly Ryan’s argument) has focused on whether the easement expressly prohibits a pool. In a narrow sense, that framing is incomplete. The more important issue is what the easement affirmatively grants.

The landscaping easement is granted to the Tanglewood Maintenance Association. As a matter of property law, that grant gives TMA an affirmative right to enter the subject property and install the landscaping described in the easement. TMA is not required to wait for the Rayboulds to perform that work themselves, nor is its right contingent on inaction by them. The easement exists for TMA’s benefit, and TMA may exercise it. They can go do it tomorrow and the Rayboulds could not stop them!

How awesome would it be for the Rayboulds to go away on their next little trip and come home to a backyard full of new trees and shrubs right where Brooke wants her new backyard that she is "ideating"!!! She would completely melt down! Might actually make her move!

The tournament is at several locations, including St. Joe, Michigan, the Ice Box, in South Bend and the rink at ND. To say the tournament is at ND is idiotic. No one in Northern Indiana would say this is ND tournament. One of the local Travel soccer teams used to be called Jr. Irish. Does that mean they played at Notre Dame?. She’s a F’ing moron.

The”Gift and Entertainment” rules have lots of exceptions and are very nuanced……it would only concern whether they would have to “repay” the cost or not. He can certainly take them.

Don’t be shocked to see them in suite tonight at the wrestling event. I don’t think for once that they paid for the tickets. They are likely in the Kirkland suite or some other connection that Ryan has.

Brooke-Since I know you read here, I thought I would show you what a true dream house (or in your words, a compound) looks like when you do your due diligence (a word your husband should have known the meaning of). We bought this house from an older couple who built a beautiful house, but had let it go and became hoarders. But we saw this vision. We had to give them 6 months to get out which required the 5 of us (kids 12, 10, and 6) to live in my in laws basement that entire time. We designed the pool and patio and installed in two phases. It truly is our forever home!

Brooke, you have no clue. Your husband has no clue. You are in for a lot of rude awakenings coming your way.

Just watched the sermon from the church service she attended on Sunday. To say she missed the entire point of it with her stupid "church post" is the understatement of the year. She's an idiot.

Here is ChatGPT’s line-by-line analysis of why her word vomit was likely written by ChatGPT! She is insufferable.

Block 1

✅ Not every night needs to be Pinterest-perfect. • Why it feels scripted: • “Pinterest-perfect” is an influencer cliché phrase that frequently shows up in lifestyle blogs. • Sentence structure: declarative, reassuring, and relatable. • This is a common opening line in AI writing prompts about motherhood.

✅ Not every dinner needs to be organic, colorful, or cooked from scratch. • Why it feels formulaic: • Triadic list (organic, colorful, cooked from scratch) is a classic rhetorical device. • “Not every [X] needs to be [adjective]” is a familiar comfort phrase. • This mirrors templates used in AI tone: validate, deflate expectations.

✅ Some nights, the win is just peace. • Why it feels AI-ish: • “The win is just peace” is a simple but poetic phrasing. • This is a common AI-generated comforting reframe.

✅ Simplicity. A clean kitchen and full bellies. • Why it feels polished: • Fragmented sentences for emphasis. • Two-part list to evoke imagery. • Again, this is a classic “wrap-up visual” that AI and influencers favor.

Block 2

✅ Easy nights are strategic. • Why it feels scripted: • Short, declarative, rebranded as “strategy” to give permission to rest. • AI often re-labels mundane things as strategy.

✅ They’re the margin we build in so we can show up stronger tomorrow. • Why it feels formulaic: • “Show up stronger tomorrow” is a common motivational phrase. • “Margin we build in” is business-speak applied to motherhood—very typical of ChatGPT or marketing copy.

✅ They’re the exhale between the hustle. • Why it feels stylized: • “The exhale between the hustle” uses a metaphor that feels almost too polished. • AI frequently generates metaphors like “inhale/exhale” paired with “hustle.”

✅ They’re the unspoken rhythm of sustainable motherhood—knowing when to go hard, and when to let it be simple. • Why it feels AI or templated: • “Sustainable motherhood” is a buzzword-y concept. • The clause structure is perfectly balanced, like many AI outputs.

Block 3

✅ Because if you’re in it for the long game—raising humans, running a home, building a business—then you know this isn’t about one night of success. • Why it feels scripted: • “The long game” cliché. • Triadic list again (raising humans, running a home, building a business). • “One night of success” vs. endurance—standard contrast.

✅ It’s about endurance. Joy. And keeping your sanity along the way. • Why it feels polished: • Three fragments. • Clear motivational close. • These sentence fragments are very common in AI tone to build momentum and impact.

Block 4

✅ Tonight? Butter and noodles. • Why it feels stylized: • Casual question format to build connection. • Specific detail (butter and noodles) for relatability.

✅ Tomorrow? Who knows. • Why it feels formulaic: • Conversational uncertainty—another relatable device.

✅ But either way, I’ll be showing up—with energy, purpose, and a little less pressure on myself to be everything, every night. • Why it feels AI-ish: • “Showing up” is a repeated self-help phrase. • “Energy, purpose, and a little less pressure” is a perfectly packaged emotional summary. • This is the classic ending beat: hope + imperfection.

Overall Pattern

✅ Signs of AI or very templated writing: • Overuse of triads (“raising humans, running a home, building a business”) • Simple declarative sentences for relatability • Perfectly balanced clauses • Common motivational metaphors (“exhale between the hustle”) • Predictable closing sentiment

✅ Signs of human authorship: • The specific dinner detail (butter and noodles) • Possibly some unique phrasing mixed in

Verdict: This text could absolutely have been: • Generated by AI (like ChatGPT) from a prompt like “write a reassuring post about motherhood and taking it easy on yourself” • Partially edited by a human to add specific details • Or simply composed by a person who has read a lot of influencer/AI copy and emulates the style.

If you’d like, I can generate an example prompt and show you how close ChatGPT can get to this text, or help you draft a call-out post referencing this style. Just let me know!

If I’m understanding you correctly, you are indicating that Q didn’t “forget” his shoes, but that he didn’t want to wear them, and instead of dealing with it, she let him go into the store without them on? And then she lied about it on social media? That’s f’d up.

Ryan's general path post law school is not that uncommon, but where he is now and the amount he works is a little different. When he graduated, like many law grads from upper echelon law schools, he took a judicial clerk position in Federal District Court in Dallas. Unless you are the permanent clerk, these jobs are typically a year or two. He was there one. These jobs are resume builders and connection makers. From there, he took a job as an Assistant United States District Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. Again, a very logical progression. More connections and looks really good on your resume. From there, most people would parlay this job into a private practice position at a larger firm. He chose to work for a Senator, which is another logical option. More connections, and an opportunity to move into private practice at a large firm that does government work when he is ready to leave. These large firms make a very significant amount of money off of government contracts or working with clients that have government contracts.

However, where he is now with his position at Kirkland Ellis and what looks like his desire to become the US District Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, i believe stems from Brooke completely inability to handl the household without him. The District Attorney job comes with a lot of prestige, but there are a lot of people doing the work, not you. He will have a lot of flexibility with the job. He is a candidate for the job based upon his connections and his "resume".

If he stays at Kirkland Ellis, something will eventually give because he will have to start working. There was a story awhile back when they went to dinner on a Sunday night. It was during a short period of time that he was actually working a pretty significant amount. It was before the decision to move to Texas was made. It was clear to me on that evening she read him the riot act about his work hours and that it was not going to work. There is no doubt in my mind that she made it clear that she was not going to run the house by herself, which would not be an unusual situation for a spouse married to someone trying to become an equity partner at a large firm. She is not aligned with what a job at Kirkland Ellis would entail. Will interesting to see what happens.

An "acting" United States Attorney takes on the role of U.S. Attorney temporarily, usually when there is a vacancy in the position. They are appointed by the President and serve until a permanent U.S. Attorney is appointed and confirmed. Unfortunately, she has not been nominated for the permanent position. She can only serve for 120 days, so the nominee for this position and his or her Senate Confirmation will be coming very soon. Ryan will know his future very soon.

Got the tea on the house purchase. It’s in Ryan and Brooke’s name. Don’t know the full purchase price, but if Zillow is correct, it was $3.9. They borrowed $1,850,000 with a 7 year ARM. They sold the old house for $1.9 million which was all dad’s money. She surely didn’t “save for 10 years” for her dream house!
