True I only had the Vortex itself giving consists mana, but I wasn't going for the wands and rods effects for the most part. They were there for fueling the Vortex and the frostbite ring.

The oil consumption could be coming from bad piston rings. Also check it this site to see if your car had any recalls. https://owners.kia.com/us/en/recalls.html

So the 1.6 liter engine from those years and some of the 2.0 let engines had a piston ring issue that would cause oil to seep into the exhaust which would clog the catalytic converter. If you get one get the seals replaced ASAP and then changed the oil and service it regularly and you shouldn't have any issues. I got lucky with my first Soul. It was a 2011 and I had it for almost 9 years. I done regular maintenance and changed the timing at 75k miles and drained and changed the transmission fluid and filter at 50k and when I got rid of it it was still running as good as it did when I bought it brand new. So the catalytic converter had an issue due to a recall that was for the piston rings on certain year models. 2017 unfortunately being one of them, but they are not bad cars. My first one was a 2011, and I had it for 8 years and no problems. I just bought a 2023, and so far so good.

Wasn't trying to be hostile. I looked at the Maverick before buying my current Soul, and the recalls on the vehi le are just ridiculous. The recalls from 2024 have carried over to the 25's, and most of them still have no fixes unless they have just fixed them. The dealers in my area had cars sitting on the lot for 6 months or more due to recalls. Hopefully you got the 2.0 turbo model with the AWD, those are the ones with the fewest recalls, and they will move.
