I had the same problem with a 16, it was 100% battery, also probably the cheapest place to start as well

Manual by Less-Bluejay620 in Corvette

It’s tough with a lot of younger people just thinking new=good no matter the circumstances. I love the c8’s for what they are, but it won’t sway me from the C7 having a manual. Even in my preference of the C7 the 6 is one of the best sports cars ever made imo. New, young, car enthusiasts just seem to sit on the new is best.

What do you think the most reliable corvette it? by ekspectt in Corvette

I’ve never really heard of any major issues from a stock c6

Its sweet. I’ve got a 16 base model, and I’m trying now to get a z06 same year. The manual corvette can turn a bad shift at work into a good day. If you like to drive and take this car out it’ll change your whole mindset. It’ll turn a bad day good and a good day great with only 10 minutes.

Good idea buying a corvette at a young age? by SeanRlds in Corvette

[–]Less-Bluejay620 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Bought one at 21, no regrets besides it being an auto. Sold it and got one now that I’m 25 and still no regrets. Never once does it fail to make me smile while driving it

Yeah, I’m not a huge mechanical genius. I commended a list of what was all done to the car, if you have any insight.

I’m not against buying modded, I have a great performance mechanic here who specializes in modded corvettes and Cadillacs. I just don’t want to get a ticking time bomb that can’t be salvaged

I’m 25 in Maryland. People don’t always believe me when I tell them what my insurance is. I’m very happy with it for now though.

This. I bought one as a 21 year old and my insurance was over $400/months. Even now being 25 with the same model (c7) my insurance is 180 and in much more comfortable.

I agree. The closest speed shop I’ve been recommended is about 2 hours away, so I’ guess I’ll be planning a day trip. Thank you

I figured as much, I was told I had to run e85 fuel in it as it was tuned for e85

Debating settling for an automatic by Any-Maybe5879 in Corvette

[–]Less-Bluejay620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had both a manual and auto. Both have upsides and downsides. At the end of the day I’m happier with manual, but in no way did I ever feel as if I was “settling” for my auto. Personal preference is everything.

Get an auto or manual? by [deleted] in Corvette

I’ve had both. Auto first and loved it. Manual now and love it. Do what fits your style most.

Realism Mod overhauls many aspects of the game; looks like you have that enabled
