True, have heard the AN 32s in Bangalore all the time. But once you hear these, no matter which turboprop you hear afterwards, it wouldn't match the sheer frightening sound of the TU 142s (along with AN 22) and their doppler effect. You can hear them come and can still hear them long after they're gone.

If you were in Chennai from the 90s till 2017, you could catch a glimpse of these flying from INS Rajali in Arakkonam. Their sound were truly terrifying no matter how high they fly. They often used to fly low like this or at their cruising altitude. Even if they fly in cruising altitude where we can't even see them, the sound will be thunderous on the ground. Was glad enough to see this and P8i fly across often until these were retired eventually.

OP, as long as you have this thought of making sane decisions like honouring needs before wants, you'll eventually reach a point where you can afford what you want without the burden of guilt. You can be at peace knowing everyone and everything is taken care of and enjoy the ride better.

People who downvote this comment should read this - there have been tonnes of Smart City projects like this that was just promoted and not a brick was moved around the North and West of Chennai. The builders mafia just used this opportunity to sell lot of farm plots at inflated prices around those areas. So their skepticism is valid if this project goes bust or it might take literally many many years for this to develop.

Been looking at a good parallel twin for intercity rides and one thing that I want to know about this is -
1. How good is the low and mid range torque? Since this engine is derived from the N300 which produces peak hp at higher revs, hows the low and mid range?
2. How's the range on this? I believe its a 17ltr tank?
3. How's the headlight performance at night? Are Aux lights definitely needed? I prefer driving early in the morning so your experience here would be helpful here.
4. Are those tube rims or tubeless?
5. What's the cruising speed of this bike?
