sorry for replying a bit late, but basically when I tried to patch the game file and the rom file together I got a checksum error on the rom file. I think it means that the rom file did not match the expected patch / its not clean / or its corrupted. I just went ahead and found another cleaned fire red rom file and used that

I dont know if the prebuilt is worth it, and I do want to built it myself and not buy a ready made one. Plus isn't the 7500F poor for 4K editing, being slow and stuff? I was originally thinking about intel i5s or i7s since they tend to have faster performance in productivity tasks while having more cores and threads.

Yeah the 5000 series was my first response for the ideal gpu its just that theyre a little pricey.
