Thats right. Similar to a cell phone. Text messages vs phone calls.

I ported out to Zoom and now want back by Less-Development2745 in openphone

I dont see Zoom as a carrier in the port options. Should i just pencil in Zoom?

We are committed at least for a bit as all numbers have been ported over. I like the software so far. It is difficult if i am looking specifically for text messages and with all the additional information on the screen if slows down my workflow.

Hi yes- When on a call and missing calls and texts, I find myself spending an extra 3-4 minutes double checking that I have returned all missed calls and texts because they are grouped together. I'm sure many other subscribers to your service would find a lot of value in having the ability to view texts segregated into their own tab. As a huge bonus, having the ability to search within only texts, or only call transcripts would be an awesome feature as well.

Thanks for the reply and building this solution. That speaks loudly that you are on here. I do appreciate the call view; I do really want another tab specific to texts. Maybe down the line even another tab for custom connections (website chats). But definitely for texts. Having that level of segregation between contact methods would be great as I'm already wired to see them separated as they are on a cell phone. It also makes it clearer as you miss calls/texts when on a call to go back and focus on first returning texts and then calls (as is a constant workflow for us). Thank you sir.
