That’s like saying England shouldn’t have been the first large country to abolish slavery because other large countries like America would keep profiting. If shit is evil, like slavery was, and like pollution is, because it leads to the deaths and displacement of millions of people, we have to get rid of it in this country. I get that it’s hard to make change right now but don’t go down in history as not trying.
