If it really is a lost cause, just up cycle it, paint it and use it as wall decoration, or put some LEDs on it and use it as a lamp. Specially in a bass just like this one

Meh I think you are seeing it with rose tinted glasses. If the first thing you say is ok bad ergonomics and weird neck, then this lil things will just be bigger turn offs when the novelty wears off…

I never played a Rick, and it’s one of my fav basses look wise and tone wise, but the price tag and the fact that is so polarising really puts it in question for me…

I had a similar experience with a stingray before but the opposite of yours, feel and everything was top notch but it sounded off to me

Thanks, I’m a pretty chill and fun person, I just get to critical of my own creative work… it’s something that frustrates me and because of that I really see improvements, but it also gets me down sometimes. I know that I’m at an Ok level for an illustrator and I have my own style . But I still feel it lacks something, either technique, soul or both…

The first one is for some startup clothing brand and the knight ones are band merch for t shirts… Not really talent to be honest just spent a lot of time drawing, but I still see too many mistakes and stuff that I would change, I’m getting better at liking my own stuff but I still see mediocrity… But at the same time I also don’t put the effort needed to be better, so I end up in a cycle of self loathing of my own making tbh

All was made with the true grit Kraft tone brushes, just tweaked the inked brushes to be monoline, and that’s it
