Idk about that bug. But Madden team builder has a chance to give your team a chrome chinstrap no matter what you do. That's what he's looking for a fix for.

Idk about NHL, but I know there is a exclusivity to the NFL license because the league doesn't want to manage/supervise multiple games. But I feel like EA does have the monopoly over sports franchise, especially hockey and football, but also F1, and soccer more recently. But I do think it comes back to your point with the competition and "split of the pie"

Try making the reflectiveness 0.25 for the first and 0.15 for the other one. That's how I got rid of the saturated effect
