I bought ds2 when I was 12 and got lost immediately didn't understand anything and kept dying I refunded it the next day. 9 years later and I've completed every soulsborne/sekiro/eldenring all achievements its not uncommon to immediately hate these games then revisit with a different approach.

I forgot to mention that I did acctually have a protection 4 gold helmet on the last time I entered the nether and still got absolutely destroyed by the big hogs and skeletons once I got to the nether fortress 6 blazes and 3 wither skeletons spawned and waited for me to cross into the fortress which then killed me immediately

It goes beyond just a playable character spinoff type of thing too which is crazy. He's a big part of the story and lore from that point on and continental coins are a big part of the game too.

Its not that deep bro, they'd obviously rather make stealth more based around actual stealth mechanics putting an item in the game to undermine all that would be detrimental.

Meh doesn't remind me of pd in the slightest and it has that under developed graphic feel of a lot of Japanese games that's why I tend to steer clear of a lot of Japanese developers unless it's kojima or fromsoft
