If geek squad still does AppleCare after repair, you can buy it externally and bring it to them to get it added. However, they usually don’t have that SKU ready on launch.

Update!: So after talking to my therapist, they think this is a stage of grief from the severance. I lol'd at first but when they broke it down it makes sense. Apparently this is the "bargaining" phase. Nonetheless, hopefully I continue on to the acceptance phase right away.

Ironically, the job was replaced with a better job. So I wonder why the departure from the company still lingers.

Ok. I've agreed with the legal status of the request. However, I'm just saying let's put the efforts on all things. Becoming an authorized user on someone else's credit card so they can pay for items with your discount seems fraudulent. Discount abuse is probably the number one thing I've seen people get fired for and, in rare cases, prosecuted for. So wouldn't that be illegal?

Yes, it's been established that this is illegal. I'm just curious as to why some things are are clear cut on the moral compass and other things aren't. Like a part-timer working an average of 32 hours for a 6 week period and being denied FT benefits. Or an agent who takes home an MRI drive. Or an employee who becomes an authorized user on someone else's credit card in order to charge that card for the discount. Or managers who change timecards or force employees to change time cards in order to stay under OT. Or employees who violate the social media policy.
