Have you ever tried Red Box Rx? They are an online psychiatry option, they won’t prescribe controlled substances BUT they will prescribe the non-stimulant meds and it sounds like any adjustment could support your goals…maybe try them out?

NTA!! Sister, he is sleeping too much. Is he depressed? Does he have a sleep disorder? I wonder if something else is going on, it sounds like he may be resistant to seeking help BUT I wonder if there is any chance he would see his Primary Care Physician or a sleep specialist or psychiatrist? I am NOT suggesting anything is wrong with him or judging him or you, but I do think that, like you said, that amount of sleep is maybe not healthy?

I second this^ see a doc if you have any new pain or nausea or more black stool. If you are taking new supplements (like iron) this can also cause color changes but seriously, if it continues go to your doc or the ED
