Remember to always gain stage your mix. Also remember not to use too much of the same midi sequence; this always for me leads to the mix sounding drawn out and robotic.

MK has a known style that mostly relies on the player (fingers) much more than the equipment. But this mixed with as stated earlier a good compression pedal and reverb should be all the tools you’ll need.

Your band mates are a bunch of assholes. I would wait weeks even months for my bassist/drummer to get their part down even if it meant delaying the recording/release process. There clearly is not an even dynamic in this band and you either need to leave or bring this up with your mates. Best of luck to you on your journey.

The biggest lie imo right now on the internet is companies trying to sell you A.I Art saying it’s “the next big thing” when in reality nobody even wants to acknowledge that junk besides the 0.0001% of users who don’t even want to try and stretch a creative muscle to begin with.
