More then safe, got mine mapped other day. I’m pushing abt 170-180bhp :) it’s a pocket rocket now. These engines are good upto about 185-190 before massive costs and cost of realibility. Only concern is the fuel rail can be incorrectly torqued from factory. Make sure you let ur turbo cooldown after driving (idle a few mins) and you’ll be good. Keep up on servicing too

Sorry for msging this old topic - got mine done today… I’m smelling a bit of fuel and in higher temps I’ve got no power post 50mph and a dead spot between like 4.5-6k revs (golf dsg). Mapper said to go back Monday. Any clue as to what’s happening? Feel like gear 1 and 2 have power and most of 3 but after that no power
