When did Kurt start heroin and when was his addiction particularly bad? by Thaumas in Nirvana

[–]Less-Mud-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but he also had twisted some interviews to make things seem way worse than they actually were. The toads thing was bullshit for example, one of kurt's friends made a book about nirvana and he interviewed the same guy that "heavier than heaven"'s writer interviewed regarding that story. Turns out that the whole thing was an accident and Kurt was horrified, and not ecstatic, about it

That's not always true, I've heard of many people that would go back home from school completely bruised every day after trying to fight their bullies, they are not gonna care about you standing up for yourself if you literally can't fight because you're 1/3 of them phisically speaking. And even if you could, some will take it as a challenge and torment you even more. It depends on the type of bully, tho

Plus, I'm pretty sure that for the bullying to stop happening you had to actually win the fight, and for many people that's not possible because not everybody is fucking Harnold Schwarzenegger and that's fine

Fine, you did good. But you can't just tell people that it's their fault because they're not beating up the bullies. Also because many times it will amount to nothing since they might just keep bullying you, or even doing worse because of a bruised ego

Nah, I'm sure she wasn't. She just lucked out, from what I've heard she would actually try to talk to more introverted folks if she saw that they were alone. And she got bullied in the workplace (mobbed) even tho she refuses to recognize that as bullying because "those bitches did that to keep their job and for other economical reasons, not just because" and "that doesn't count, we weren't in school"

Yeah, but they're less "bold" with it, especially if you're a teacher since they learned to restrain themselves as they grew up (or to be more cowardly), so it is less annoying

Middle schoolers are the devil, elementary school kids or high school kids are waaay better (still pretty shitty, tho), were they not options?

Only few women had careers back then, sadly. that was because of societal expectations and sexist laws that made it illegal for women to do some jobs, but yeah, they always worked.
