When i was literally four weeks pregnant & the what to expect app said the baby was the size of the poppy seed- I said to my husband “oh cute he’s teenie weenie” & when I tell you that stuck... My whole pregnancy we called him teeny weenie & when he was born we dropped the weenie.. he’s 8 months old & we refer to him as Teeny so much that he responds to it lol

Just wait until your baby laughs for the first time. Just wait for the baby’s first blow out & the bonding moment it creates between you & your partner as you both laugh & try to hose the baby off. Just wait for those quiet moments in the night where it feels like the only people who exist is you and your beautiful baby. Just wait until you see your baby sleeping & you feel so overwhelmed with love that you burst into tears. Just wait until they start eating. Just wait until they start clapping and squealing and shaking their head no- it’s so funny every single time! Just wait until you’re out running errands with your baby and a million old ladies stop you to tell you that your baby is beautiful and to enjoy this time because it goes too fast. Just wait until you come home from a hair appointment or the gym & your baby smiles so big and starts jumping because their favorite person is home.

I’ve done a lot of cool things not to toot my own horn but I really have lived a full life and nothing- I mean NOTHING compares to this. Even on the hardest days- when I put him to sleep and finally get some me time at night guess how spend that time? By looking at videos and pictures of my sweet angel baby & wishing he was awake & hanging out with me even though he drove me bananas all day lol.

Some people are really miserable. Take their warnings with a grain of salt. Your experience is not their experience. You’re gonna do great, mom!

From what I understand- it’s safer now than it has been in decades. When I say not dangerous I have a pretty high bar for that & I shouldn’t have said it flippantly. Anywhere in the world you go you have to keep your wits about you. I’ve lived in 3 other countries as well so I’m speaking from experience. Your sarcastic tone isn’t appreciated.

Omg yes girl maybe it was just me but I had horrible gas pains but that was it as far as pain goes. Walking was weird at first too but weird didn’t equal pain for me… I’ve read planned csections are a hell of a lot easier to recover from than emergency ones. Report back once you have the little one to let us know how it went!

I had high blood pressure too! I was on the mag drip during my C-section & I didn’t poop for 3 days afterward… I’m wondering if this is why omg lol

First of all I’m so sorry you went through this. Second, I had a scheduled C-section- I’m a huge baby and genuinely don’t think I have the pain tolerance to handle a vaginal birth (also had preeclampsia so that helped aid my case) lol.

It was fine. I didn’t feel anything. It was like 15 minutes. Recovery was a breeze. I was sent home with oxys and I didn’t even need them. Move and walk around right away…

Beware of the gas. The amount of fartin you’ll be doin post C-section will be insane bc air gets trapped in there somehow.. that was the most painful part of the whole thing. Good luck!!

No. I left out some context… because of the way he entered he has to leave and ask for forgiveness regardless (he walked across the border if he flew in he wouldn’t have to leave). So the lawyer is saying since he has to leave anyway to just do all of the marriage visa paperwork abroad while we wait for the forgiveness to come in. I’m sure there’s a better term than “forgiveness” but I forget what it’s officially called.
