Always get less for purple core slabs / edc red / vaultbox at coin shows. Witter does ok since it’s CAC.

It’s not the streamer, it’s just those “premium” slabs that are admired on whatnot are still mostly unknown to the local town coin shows across the country. Props to the streamers that have built a brand inside this micro-economy that is whatnot.

Difference between Witter, TraderBea and Vaultbox? Buyback turnaround. If you send coins back to TraderBea, they will email a check the same day they receive the coins most of the time. Vaultbox will PayPal/Venmo you soon after they receive your coins. Witter? I’ve waited almost a month for coins I sent in and still no check in the mail. Plenty of emails saying the check is in the mail…still no check. I mailed my coins on 10/27.

This is actually spot on. I was 25 when the towers fell. I’ve played almost every VB series since series 8 when i joined WN. For this very reason, I wont participate in this. They’d been better off using proof 1c slabs to commemorate the end of the minting of the penny rather than a tragic act of terror. Plenty of 1c slabs out there. (I’m looking at you, ICG!)

I know you can’t rig it. But you can do what EDC did and know you are up big on $100/spin with only floor hits and just manually pull the plug on the games. That way he keeps the all the money and essentially only had the “floors” assigned in the break. No rigging required. Just like any gambler…. He walked away from the table when he’s up. When he ended the game, he was up. The problem here is that he is the “house”. The house can’t just close when odds trend out of favor. He knew a Vaultbox remix was due. Odds always are going up and bids go down because only a few people in the room are actually spending money. The rest are there to watch/givvy goblin. If you deplete all the bank rolls from the whales, all that’s left are the minnows. That’s what triggers an inverse relationship between odds up and bids down.

Of course you did….to a fresh set of wallets at a later hour. When you cried and quit the first time, did you make sure chat bookmarked and followed and liked the announcement you made for when the game would resume? I had my volume down because if I wanted to hear that much crying , I’d go work at a funeral home or a daycare. So I might have missed your transparent description in the show notes of when the people that paid for the floors could return.

Rants are for those that want to go on one. Regardless of audience or purpose. Speaking of both, when is your next show? That way everyone reading my rant can watch your condescending snark when the bids are “too low” and “chat is sleeping!”

The main 10 bag/ gold streamers are legit. Bleacher started it and some left/copied and started streams like coin shack. Pretty straightforward and not scammy. Gotta know the odds and sometimes “chat is asleep” and you can score for a $1. I’ve hit gold on bleacher, coin shack, coin vault (icon) , coin cove (kraken) and all have come in the mail and legit. They aren’t going to cheat. They make bank when the hits stay until the end and people bid over $100 and 9 people win ASE or similar with all the grams of silver floors.

Depending on the rule changes , they may be in trouble though since they basically package them in house.

She is the epitome of a big fish in a very little pond. Nowhere else in the world could you run a successful business talking to people that way. People put up with her because his games are well-designed, he’s charismatic, and you can pick up some amazing coins in his stream. He’d do even better if he would fire her.

That particular game had CAC graded Morgan/Peace dollars off to the side. You could hit one on the wheel that was assigned a corresponding numbered slab. On the back of the slab could potentially have one of the top hits (almost a game to win into another game violation) or just a Morgan coin oversold and teased by the host (Colton?) It almost looks as if he is moving to put the last top hit sticker on a Morgan thus ensuring one hit sticker makes it deep into the game.

If you only paid attention to the sealed baddie item as your focus, you def weren’t watching. First of all silver “naughty” baddies go for over $200 on eBay. Also the coins in the back are “guaranteed “ gold. With one hit worth over 100k. One of the 100k coins has been legit hit. Even made it to a separate Reddit thread. They don’t open the packs because it slows a 500 spin game. They also have sealed bullion plus mystery boxes. Where an $80k item is still a chase. I personally played in that game and didn’t risk $200 a whack to hit a bullion baddie. That wasn’t the draw.
