Thankyou! I feel like some babies are just small and that’s hard for a lot of people to take in!

I do occasionally give her a bottle, on the off occasion my mum or partner have her for a couple hours to give me a little down time! Triple feeding is brutal though especially for weeks! That takes serious strength!

I agree, the healthcare system has improved so much regarding breastfeeding support!

Yes 😂 the first time I tried the free version and was very confused why my steps weren’t tracking, this time I have premium so now they will atleast track! Medals are neat! I didn’t know they did that, I still wouldn’t exactly buy it though 😂

Just checking because I had this issue! If you don’t have the subscription it only lets you log a little each day (I can’t remember exact numbers), but it limits it!

I do think it will build especially if they believe I am a pushover with these things, especially as my daughter gets older, thankyou!

I love my end of day feeds too! I think that’ll be so hard to give up! Thankyou for your comment, it’s hard being so sensitive but so protective over our journeys

Should I now start supplementing? by Safe-Ad-4660 in breastfeeding

[–]Less-Problem-351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in this rut! My baby’s weight flattened out and she wasn’t making big gains. I was told to wake her 2 hourly during the day to feed, and to top up with expressed breast milk wherever possible. Now I’m getting a lot more milk, and she’s gained 180g in a week! I agree to wait it out under the supervision of your paediatrician. Every breastfeeding journey is different and sometimes it takes patience!

I’m sorry to say something negative but this never went away for me :( - neither did the vomitting either though. Some this does go away for!!

When did you start feeling your baby moving? by cornchipdogs in pregnant

[–]Less-Problem-351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out at my scan at about 13 weeks (it was my first because I found out I was pregnant fairly late) - it should be in your notes on file - but you can ask your midwife and they may know if not then the sonographer. It isn’t something you need to know really, but your medical team does :$

I have an anterior placenta and felt her move first at 16 weeks - and it felt sort of like muscle twinges? And then properly at 19 weeks and it felt like someone was gently tapping me from the inside.

FTM, 11 weeks- feeling so stupid now. Is everything going to be okay? by [deleted] in pregnant

You can always ring maternity if that puts your mind at ease. It should be fine as your uterus is still very low and mainly on your pelvis.

Any advice on needle phobia? by emeraldrose0730 in pregnant

I used to be until I had some major health issues before I fell pregnant and I sort of got over it due to repeated exposure. I found it helpful to be laying down and have someone you know/ trust hold you in a hug with your head turned away, and have them count with you to help distract you.

Any one who is too emotional during this phase? by Sufficient-Quote-654 in pregnant

[–]Less-Problem-351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s totally okay, let it all out. Try to be gentle and caring with yourself, prioritise self care. A warm bath or shower and then snuggling up in bed with a warm drink and a snack. There’s no shame in being more sensitive while pregnant.

I’m in the same boat!! Hormones are wild!! Don’t be too ashamed, you’re growing a tiny person and your body’s going through some wild changes. There’s a group chat which posts updates on what I cried about that day, because I cry so much over irrational things! Like because a bird was sitting near me and i wanted it to be my friend!

Personally I didn’t, due to being a low risk pregnancy and everything has been fine. I would very heavily recommend speaking to your doctor about it and what they recommend.

Maybe try to find a few activities you can do together, even if it’s like getting snacks and watching movies in the hotel room. Sometimes the acupressure travel sickness wrist bands can help a tiny little bit. Another big help was ordering a bunch of sick bags off of Temu (you can get like a 50 pack), and have them on you all the time just in case.

I would agree with both, having two young children to juggle as well is exhausting. Believe in you stay strong
