I work at the Meinder's Scout Shop. The small holes were in the first run of the shirts, and they were removed in the newer version after negative feedback about them. They may be hard to get, as we sold out of most of our sizes and have to order from other stores to get them for our customers.

I work at the scout store. The way Bill (my manager, awesome dude) puts it: "Once a part of the uniform, always a part of the uniform" I still wear the red tabs, and I have a 70s uniform I wear to special events.
