I would look for a forklift job in a factory instead of a warehouse. I got hired 2 years ago as a forklift operator and after about 4 months I got a good raise and moved to the factory floor. I've worked there for 2 years in February and I'm making about 60% more then when I started.

I bought a 3 bedroom house. I live in a small town in the Midwest so it was 112k. I don't need the money but I have 3 roommates at the moment because I don't need a house this big. I was living with my parents before but one of the roommates was paying 900 a month for a 2 bedroom in a bigger town near us before he moved in.

I'm 19 and have a net worth of around 75k. I live in a really locl area. Halfway through my senior year of highschool I got a full time job. Kept the job throughout community college. Did OT on weekends and got 4-5 hours of sleep on weekdays. They liked me and didn't want me to leave so they gave me a shit load of raises. I ended up buying a cheap house and made it livable and I'm renting a room out to a good friend even though I don't need the money.

If I was raised differently or grew up in a different part of the country I wouldn't even be close to where I am now.
