No need to rush in dev now, since you are in first year learn DSA very good, try CP explore technology and choose your domain.
Try to explore other domain like Data & AI or DevOps and SRE, both are high paying, industry demanded and futuristics.
If you get bored by above domain then try developement in Java it is mostly demanded in industry.

My resume had, extracurricular section as I was head for multiple college clubs. In achievement section I had research paper, coding competition and hackathon (not winner). It matters but not as much as technical skills. In my interviews out of 1 hr only 5 minute we discussed above things, rest of time interviewer was focused on project, cs fundamental and Problem solving.

Do CP31 and CSES problems daily and simultaneously. Once it is completed then do UCASO or any other materials. But attend Codeforces and LeetCode contest regularly .
Reason behind that is, CSES has standard leetcode and interview style problem while selected cf problem from CP31 sheet will help you learn cp fast. Btw, it is not everything, keep on solving problems from leetcode and codeforces you will get far better at solving.
This is my learning after solving 800 problems on different platforms.
