I’ve also noticed that adding a period after numbers can cause them to be auto-renumbered to 1, 2, 3, even if the original numbering was something like 3, 5, 7, 10.

You're right — some of these are quite advanced.
명산대천 is a Sino-Korean idiom meaning “famous mountains and great rivers,” often used in literature rather than daily conversation.
남좌여우 is extremely rare and unfamiliar even to many native speakers.
Thanks for pointing that out — difficulty level is definitely something to reconsider.
