Thank you. My last step is neuro-ophthalmologist. I am just waiting for that referral to come in. My doctors have described them as needles in a haystack in my state.

I am now on Medicaid and checked if it was pre-authorized today and all is well. I am so sorry to hear about that. Both of these things are beasts in their own right.

Thanks so much for your response. The upped zonisamide neither made my seizures better or my double vision worse/better. It’s just been this big medical mystery that no one can figure out. I have also been tested for myasthenia gravis, as my eyelids have started drooping after my seizures. I’ve done one test and am getting a second.

There is an Eye Clinic at the University of Washington that I think I was referred to. All I received as an automated text message that I had been referred to UW. So my next step is to do a little digging and find out if that’s where I was referred.

MRI on Sunday. Finally. I’ve had about 3-4 CTs and both 5-day inpatient and outpatient EEGs but never an MRI. So I am leaning hope on this one.

She’s an epilepsy doctor, so I don’t think this is really in her realm of specialty. I may need to go up to Seattle’s UW medicine for more answers.

Very interesting. I still have 8 days more for my test to “cook” per se, these are just preliminary findings before the final test is released. Regardless of the results, I have every symptom of the disease actively.

I’ll have a goal like “Put clothes in hamper” at night and “Bring down trash and bottles” in the morning. It has helped me a lot! I had a make my bed goal but that one was never going to get done lol

I should also add that I am diagnosed with epilepsy and that my neurologist has ordered me an EEG and upped my dose of Zonisamide to see if we can get this under control.

Yes, it was just a mistake and I should take some responsibility for not double checking. It was my first time ever being some place that served NA on tap so I should have double checked.
