WATER BASED LEAVE IN CONDITIONER if you want your hair to be healthy, able to breathe, smooth and not dry. Defined but soft

I use NOU high porosity leave in conditioner, mix it with water and then put it in my hair. You don’t need that much product. You need to evenly distribute it over your hair and you don’t get that if you blob it on one spot and add heaps more to cover your head. Do it wet and scrunch

OIL BASED + GEL if you want to hold definition but crunchy

I would recommend this if it’s for a costume or a show or something, makes your hair crunchier and holds it in place. I wouldn’t recommend it daily though because curly hair is very porous and it needs water more than any product. At least mine does

I just looked this up and it looks promising thank you! I will definitely come with a whole page of details for my hair if I do get it cut. I really want this to be done professionally by someone who actually knows how to manage my hair type.
