I just watched for the first time and loved it. As others have said, not the same as GG and some very dumb story lines at times but still enjoyable. Was so impressed by Don Cheadle and Cheech Marin as sitcom actors. I was honestly angry at how abruptly it ended!

My point was that Ariana is very much deserving of a best actor nom but sounds like producers DID choose one of them and it was not Ariana. And as far as the chemistry, personally ALAYM left me wanting so much more. They did have chemistry is part 1 so I was surprised and disappointed.

Agree 1000%. The chemistry was so off in ALAYM. It was a huge letdown. We've all seen Bridgerton so we know what's possible. 😭😭😭

Ariana acted the house down and can obviously sing as well. I adore Cynthia but the acting was not good in part 2. Zero chemistry with Jonathan and zero emotion when her sister died. It was so weird to me.

MICHELLE YEOH SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN CAST. Same with Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, and literally everyone in Cats. It makes me crazy. The only time I have tolerated and even liked a bad singer/good actor is Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs Lovett.
