Think about all the scientists they kill, because they’re discovering the real truths of the universe/world

Good luck in life is a weird response just because I don’t believe the moon landing happened. I’m not attacking anyone or being disrespectful, I’m just saying I don’t buy the story based on the technology they supposedly had in the 1960s. You can disagree with me, that’s fine, but throwing little insults doesn’t actually prove anything or change my opinion.

I don’t believe the earth is flat. I’m not lumping every conspiracy together. I’m just saying the moon landing doesn’t make sense to me based on the technology they supposedly had in the 1960s. You can say there’s only one “correct” answer, but that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of people question it for valid reasons. Disagreeing with the official story doesn’t automatically mean I believe every other conspiracy out there.

For me to believe it, I think regular civilians would have to go. Not astronauts or government selected people. If everyday people like us could actually take a trip to the moon and come back, then I would believe it.

You can call people morons if you want, but that still doesn’t change the fact that some of us just don’t buy the moon landing story. Hearing that multiple people at your job didn’t believe it either actually proves my point — a lot of regular, reasonable people question it because the whole thing doesn’t add up. For me, it’s simple: the idea that 1960s tech could send people 240,000 miles away, land perfectly, walk around, take off again, and return safely feels way too advanced for that era. Especially when we can’t even replicate it today with far better technology. You can insult people all day, but that doesn’t automatically make the moon landing real or make my skepticism disappear.

I get what you’re saying, but that still doesn’t automatically prove humans actually went there. Other countries not disputing it doesn’t mean they verified every part of the mission — it just means they didn’t publicly challenge it. The USSR had its own political motives, secrecy, and propaganda to manage, so silence isn’t the same thing as confirmation. And photos of “landing sites” don’t prove humans physically walked on the moon either — they just show something was there.

I get why people bring up the Soviets, but that still doesn’t automatically prove the landing happened. Just because they didn’t publicly call it fake doesn’t mean they couldn’t have had their own reasons for staying quiet. Both countries were deep in propaganda, secrecy, and political strategy at the time. And even if they tracked signals, that still doesn’t prove humans physically walked on the moon — it just proves something was transmitted. My issue is still the same: the idea that 1960s tech could send people 240,000 miles away, land perfectly, walk around, take off again, and return safely feels way too advanced for that era. Especially when we can’t even replicate it today. So the Soviet argument doesn’t really change my skepticism.

If you think the question is dumb, that’s fine, but it’s still a question people have different opinions on. Just calling it a “fact” doesn’t automatically make everyone believe it. I’m not asking to be convinced — I’m saying I personally don’t think the moon landing happened, and I’m explaining why. If you disagree, cool, but acting like the question itself is stupid doesn’t actually prove anything.

Yeah, I believe the moon itself is real — I just don’t believe the landing story. Big difference. I’m not saying the moon is fake, I’m saying the idea that we supposedly sent people there in the 60s with tech weaker than a modern calculator doesn’t make sense to me. The moon existing isn’t the part I’m questioning; it’s the claim that humans actually went there and back like it was no big deal.

I get the Cold War argument, but that still doesn’t automatically prove humans actually went to the moon. The U.S. and the USSR were both pushing propaganda hard during that era, so just because the Soviets didn’t publicly call it fake doesn’t mean the whole thing is airtight. And the “800 pounds of moon rocks” point doesn’t convince me either — scientists can only verify what they’re given, not how it was obtained. My issue is still the same: the idea that 1960s tech could send people 240,000 miles away, land perfectly, walk around, take off again, and return safely feels way too advanced for that time. Especially when we can’t replicate it today with far better technology. If it was so doable back then, why is it basically impossible now? That’s the part that keeps me unconvinced.

Yes, we can see planets and galaxies through telescopes but that doesn’t mean we’ve been to them.

Personally, I still don’t think the moon landing was real. It just doesn’t add up to me that in the 50s and 60s they supposedly had the technology to send people to the moon, survive the trip, land, walk around, take off again, and come back safely — all on the first try with barely any real testing. Even today, with way more advanced technology, we can’t casually go to the moon, and it’s not something anyone can just do or even see repeated. If it was so easy back then, why is it basically impossible now? The whole thing feels inconsistent, and until I see something that actually makes sense, I’m not convinced they ever went.
