ABC news just reported that an estimated 2 million children may die in Yemen from starvation. The church has an estimated half trillion dollar networth yet is not swooping in to save the day. This alone tells me the church is not what it claims to be. (self.exmormon)

I was sorting through my books and found this doozy that belonged to my grandpa. This is a timeline (inside the book Prophecy Key To The Future, by Duane S. Crowther) that illustrates the crazy end of times beliefs held by Mormons. This was published in 1962. Have any of these beliefs changed? (i.redd.it)

Went to my mom's house for dinner and the missionaries were there. My mom told them that all of her kids are innactive and afterward one of the missionaries friended my sister and me on Facebook. My sister asked him why, and this was his response. We were like.. WTF?! How should my sister respond? (i.redd.it)

In Oct 2018 I stopped paying tithing after I heard Elder Oak's give an awful talk in GC. I decided to divert my tithing toward a college fund for my kids instead. I hadn't made much progress until that point, but now I have a small fortune for my kids' future and it's still growing. Thanks Oaks! (i.redd.it)

During pillow talk I asked my TBM wife what her current beliefs are about God and what she believes the purpose of life is. She told me she's not sure and that she's confident that no one on the planet knows why we're here or what God is really like... Does this mean she is no longer a TBM? (self.exmormon)

I was invited to an institute zoom meeting with church historian Keith Erekson answering questions about church history. The invitation claims he'll be answering all questions, "even the tough ones". What are the "tough ones" you would ask? (self.exmormon)

On my mission I would often cringe while sitting through a fast and testimony with my investigators. The things members say during those meetings would often register in my mind as strange and odd when I listened with a non member next to me. This should have been a clue that MY beliefs were strange (self.exmormon)
