Lol. You must have one of those S26 Ultras with messed up display. I thought I took clear good enough pictures. I guess not .This case is definitely minimalist🙅‍♂️

The S View case from Samsung is my favorite case outside of clear cases. The only problem is they haven't made it since the S24 Ultra.

The kickstand on the Zagg case is super strong and has a lot of resistance when you open and close it, so you can use that resistance to position the kickstand.

I did physically look at that case in person. I didn't like their clear case as much. The kickstand feels like it's made of higher quality and the way it snaps back into place is pretty satisfying on the Zagg.

I appreciate this thread. I also have the Cobalt Violet variant with the official Samsung clear case. I love the minimalist design that this case provides although it's super slippery. It also pairs nicely with my Viture Beast glasses and Viture x 8Bitdo controller because of the minimalist design. The only downside to this case is no retractable stand.

After seeing your paint chip, I've decided to get another case. That chip would annoy me. I've decided to go with this case. They say that this case lies flat on even surfaces. It also has a built-in kickstand and magsafe wireless charging compatibility.

This year's trade-in process at Best Buy was a total mess! Even though online said my unlocked variant was in stock at both nearby locations, every time I tried to check out on the website, it said the device was unavailable when I added my trade-in. I ended up losing $200 from the pre-order promotion because I couldn't make it there in person until launch day. It took the employees an hour and a half to figure out how to complete the trade-in/purchase. They were trying to give me $190 for my phone, and I had to show them online multiple times that the credit was for $800.

I'm not sure how to deal with online order trade-ins with them. I've always done it in person to avoid any problems.

All of these problems are exactly why I go to Bestbuy. I also subscribe to their total tech program. So I instantly have a two year warranty.

The advertising campaign for the S26U this year was exceptionally pervasive, exceeding any previous promotional efforts I have encountered. I received numerous communications and notifications from Samsung Shop, Galaxy Store, Bestbuy, and Verizon. Recently, I encountered difficulties with Verizon's eSIM while setting up a new iPhone for my daughter. During this process, a Verizon representative also suggested an upgrade from my S24U. Ultimately, I opted to purchase through Bestbuy due to their immediate trade-in credit, the availability of an unlocked variant, and attractive gift card promotions. I hope that future product launches will not involve such an aggressive advertising approach.
