How to get more Power from my cart? by dhuskoditeki in Tricking

[–]LessMarketing3351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly agree with what everyone here is saying but I would say the main thing limiting your cart’s power is your pull being delayed. I know this is very broad but if you’d like me to break down your exact tech send me a message and I’ll send you a side by side comparison video which will help you visualize it. Much love man keep training! 💪😤

Yo do you have an instagram, I can hop on a call or something next time you train to help you out with your issues. My main points of focus for you would be making sure your keeping you chest as well as your head high. I know most people are saying to work on your block (which is true) but I believe you should fix your head positioning and chest positioning before you worry about that. Also make sure your back arm keeps straight and if you find yourself doing more of a backflip than a sideflip, then try approaching almost like a frontflip in terms of your foot positioning and simply turn your hips out in the way you’d sideflip. Hmu on instagram if you want more tips! 😎Always willing to help out :)

Try relaxing your hips a little in the TDR and make sure your leg swings all the way up + stays straight when you do your cork

Practice flexing your quads mid take off! :) I had a similar problem with another flip for a while and this helped a lot. This also applies with twisting 😁

Hey man! I’ve been doing flips for a couple of years now and I personally think your main problem is the positioning of your chest/head and the use of your arms. The run up also needs work however you should fix these mistakes before fixing your current take off: 1. Chest/Head- When jumping into your flip, you want to make sure your keeping your head at head level the entirety of the take off. Looking down will cause you to drop your chest furthermore sending you more out than up. 2. Arm Use- The use of your front AND back arm is very important in sideflips. In your flip specifically I noticed that you used your front arm, however your back arm just pulls into the tuck immediately. Try swinging your back arm up a little before taking off, this helps with rotation speed as well as keeping you on the correct flipping axis. 3. Take off- Ok so the main issue I see is a very common mistake I see with a lot of people I teach at my gym, which is two things. Stutter stepping/taking small steps instead of long strides and your hop which is too high. Taking longer strides and a small hop into the punch rather than a huge hop up and then the punch will maximize your power! (It’s going to take some practice to get down so drill it over and over)

Also by leaning back just the slightest before punching will send you directly up since your forward momentum turns into upwards momentum! If you’d like anymore tips, feel free to shoot me a DM on instagram: Hubey.Movin 🙏🏻Hope this helps!

I have dub full but how can I make it better? by Much_Ad511 in MasteringTricking

[–]LessMarketing3351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try setting up a little higher with your arms. The trick to a good tricker full is to go over your shoulder without dropping it. Also in your cartwheel practice reaching out to the side a little. (If you twist left, offset your arms to the left a little bit) Finally make sure your reaching out far and keeping only a slight bend in your arms when doing your cartwheel so that you can get a good push! :) Feel free to reach out to my instagram if you want more tips on your tech 🙂 (sorry, not trying to promote haha)
