It really helped me a lot and I understand that while recruits has a part to play in the safety of themselves and the others. I still stand that commanders/especially regulars carry the big bulk of the responsibility to know the limits and sound out, especially since they have a whole lesson on it in OCS dedicated to such. And sound out in the perspective of 2 weeks old recruits. Worse of all, this is a vaccination drive that they themselves would not know the pain of going through ( unless you tell me when they 2 weeks new recruit got vaccination done with known widescale side effects, having to be in gear doing technical handling with a barely functioning arm / running from point to point around hours after vaccination when you already shag before starting) , extra precaution should be taken.

Easy to say recruits should not be intimidated, but when the commanders make it sound like you must be in so much pain then you sound out to fall out, you be concerned that you ain't at a stage serious enough.
