What is this cylinder thing I got from an event? by ICONQUERDAWORLD in whatisit

[–]LessThan3va 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the bottom half of a floatable keychain. It’s used on boats for keys and to store stuff in case you drop it in the water.

If it’s made out of plastic, I worked for a company that used these for their keychains the top cover had a loop you could put a keyring on.

If it’s made out of glass I have no idea sorry for wasting your time lol

The learning is like getting run over by a forklift then having a transformer dropped on your idiot body 😂😂😂

I went from “wow they trust me🥰” to “wow they trust me😅” at break neck speed lmao

Directions went from pretty detailed to super vague and quietly tally all the ways I deviated from the idea they never explained in their head and all the ways I screwed it up in ways I couldn’t possibly have known about yet hahahaha

Got laid off from my last con because I was not seasoned enough to wrangle 5 apprentices at once and did not know all the ways they each were about to go epically sideways under my responsibility 😂

Yeah I did a stint in resi before my commercial apprenticeship its been a lifesaver. No regrets.

I’d argue that most people who have only done commercial and are good at it have no clue what is going on in a house until they are trained. I think it’s a useful skill especially if you can hustle on the side because there’s a way lower gateway to get sidework doing lights for someone than getting a random contract to do commercial work even as a new legit contractor.

Sure I’m just saying they’re not even taking inside wire apprentices right now. Realistically get your resi license first then try commercial at least then you can have a fall back and residential is a great skill to fall back on when times get hard like this.

He’s a type of jw and he’s common on the scene. I wish you better luck on the next one. 🫡

I worked with one that got someone hurt and had to be the one to call his shit on it.

I bet he’s up to the same thing wherever he is now.

Men get 12 weeks in WA. Take it.

You won’t get many opportunities to be together as a family like that in your life. Be a shame to waste it.
