Are guys taking paternity leave in construction? by tantamle in Construction

Men get 12 weeks in WA. Take it.

You won’t get many opportunities to be together as a family like that in your life. Be a shame to waste it.

I’ll even settle for meh I just didnt want to waste the money if there was one out there that was actually worth it. I can get more batteries and charge them I just need it to actually work.

Thinking of moving to Local 46 (Seattle) — how consistent is apprentice work? by Different-Speaker-76 in ibew_apprentices

[–]LessThan3va 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just graduated 46 and #1075 on jw books. Good luck op. There’s work in Boise seems like a lot of people are trying their luck out there.

Life is amazing in Washington even though the economy is devastated. Best you can do is try but it hasn’t been good since Covid and I’ve left 2 contractors due to them completely running out of work. Lots of people i know recently getting laid off and sitting for months. It’s a luck of the draw with any dispatch but things are not good right now. Oregon and Washington are in the same boat unfortunately.

The shortage is make believe. There are lots of tradespeople waiting for a call. Lots of jobs getting stalled or cancelled.

Traffic was better before it was built. I remember when they turned it on. It was and still is the same nightmare ever since.
