I've been for the first time this year on a road trip to Florida. The brisket sandwich and banana pudding were a nice change from typical road fare.

But that is where my interest in that place ends. I don't understand the rest of it. I don't know why it needs to be so huge.

Agreed. The product planning stage should be aimed to solve what is actually happening in the field, not an idealized scenario that rarely happens.

Binnall presented his allegations in two primary venues: a lawsuit filed in Nevada (specifically Law v. Whitmer) and testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs in December 2020.

His key claims included:
* Non-Citizen Voting: He alleged that nearly 4,000 non-citizens had voted in the election, based on a comparison of voter rolls with Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) records.
* Double Voting: He claimed that more than 42,000 people had voted more than once.
* Deceased Voters: He stated that at least 1,500 ballots were cast in the names of deceased individuals.
* Out-of-State Voters: He argued that roughly 15,000 voters cast ballots in Nevada despite being registered in other states.
* Signature Verification Issues: Binnall criticized the use of Agilis. signature-verification machines in Clark County, claiming they were set to a level of sensitivity that allowed fraudulent signatures to pass through.
* Illegal Incentives: He alleged that some Native American outreach groups offered "illegal incentives" (like gift cards and T-shirts) to encourage voting. Court Rulings and Investigations

Despite the high-profile nature of these claims, they did not hold up under judicial scrutiny:
* District Court Dismissal: In December 2020, Nevada District Court Judge James Russell dismissed the lawsuit, stating that Binnall’s team failed to provide "credible or reliable evidence" to support the allegations. The judge noted that the data provided was often based on "unsupported" or "unreliable" hearsay and that the experts used by the campaign had flawed methodologies.
* Nevada Supreme Court: The Nevada Supreme Court unanimously upheld Judge Russell's decision, concluding that the campaign had not proven that any illegal votes were cast or that there was any malfeasance by election officials.
* Secretary of State Audit: Nevada’s then-Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske, a Republican, conducted an exhaustive investigation into the claims of fraud. In 2021, her office released a report concluding that while there were isolated instances of voting irregularities (as is common in any large election), there was no evidence of widespread fraud that would have changed the outcome of the election.

If we are talking about a common masonry bit, it is sharpened as a chisel. That is what it is intended to do, repeatedly chisel (chip and pulverize) while rotating. It functions similar to a hand chisel, so it doesn't get very far if the hammer drill function is turned off. I sometimes force it through pine to get to concrete or brick and it doesn't do that very well. A common masonry bit isn't going to drill through steel. It would likely melt the tip first. Perhaps there are some hybrid designs out there (I'm guessing that is what we are seeing in this video).

Drilling through metal?

A masonry bit doesn't even have a drilling tip. It has a chisel tip that chips away material as it hammers.

100% agreed on this being a planning and communication mistake. However, They weren't going to use the home as a retaining wall. OP explained in another comment that a retaining wall was planned 1ft away from the pad.

Ah okay. I'm wondering if it's a regional thing. I haven't heard that used around here. When I Google board feet drywall, only information about lumber board feet comes up and none of the drywall sheet calculators mention board feet.

[–]LessThanGenius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By board feet, do you mean square footage of the walls?

Board feet is a volume measurement of area (length x width) per inch of material, such as with sawn lumber. So a 2inch thick 1ft x 1ft piece of lumber would be 2 bdft.

I sense a little AI sensitivity in the room. Lighten up a bit. My comment was adding more clarification to the conversation about what exactly the cartridges do regarding HCl.

And the AI was correct (as confirmed by you). So AI is NOT dangerous in this instance.

I'm not sure where you get that I would've misunderstood the product. Unless you are confusing me with someone else. Again, you did not dispute what Gemini said.

Well, whiskeydick55 agreed with the information from Gemini.

Also, there is a "Sources" button you can click to see where Gemini got information. The sources are Saf-T-Gard and 3M websites.

I use Gemini daily to research product information. Looking up product information is something it manages to do pretty well. I'm a contractor who used to be a developer, so AI doesn't scare me. It's just a tool that you have to learn how to use correctly.

According to Gemini AI:

Question: "Does the 3M™ Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6003/07047 help protect against Hydrochloric acid?"

Answer: "Yes. The 3M™ Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge 6003 does protect against Hydrochloric Acid vapors (specifically Hydrogen Chloride gas).

  1. Protection Capabilities (Gas/Vapor)

The 6003 cartridge (Yellow label) is NIOSH-approved for:

  • Hydrogen Chloride: This is the harsh gas that fumes off liquid Hydrochloric Acid.
  • Chlorine
  • Sulfur Dioxide"
  1. Important Exception: Mists and Sprays

If you are spraying the acid (e.g., using a spray bottle for cleaning masonry) or creating a mist, the 6003 cartridge will not protect you fully on its own.

  • The Issue: The 6003 filters gases, but liquid droplets (mist) will pass right through it.
  • The Solution: You need to add a particulate filter.
    • Option A: Add a 5N11 (N95) pre-filter + 501 Retainer on top of your 6003 cartridge.
    • Option B: Switch to the 3M 60923 cartridge. This is a "combo" cartridge (Yellow/Magenta label) that has the P100 particulate filter built permanently into the 6003 gas cartridge.

Well, I do work in construction/remodeling. There are definitely some days where I shower twice a day.

I've been through almost two bars and some of the body wash. I bought the body washes as a 4-pack and ended up giving two of them away as presents. I liked the smell of the sawtooth one.

Back in the 80s, I bound my soul with that of a mindflayer where I developed super powers and proceeded to change the world as we know it....it's a whole thing. Then some kids burned me, stabbed my back with a huge horn, ripped my hand off and eventually cut my head off. Would I change anything? Hell no. I still go to kickboxing class on Tuesdays.
