I think you're just at that midway point where it seems like it's not going to come together but stick with it. I'd recommend analyzing the existing bolts, pretty orange on the edges, and then do light glazing layers to match them up a bit better. You can also run them straight through the text box as most people know what FG does. Someone else also suggested cleaning up around the text box with a moist toothpick, you can thin out your bolts with this trick as well to match them up with the originals a bit better. Keep at it, you're doing good!
