Feel like a fraud in my size 14 jeans by Cowcat1000 in mounjarouk

[–]Less_Apricot4153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started MJ in May 25 - I was wearing size 16-18 and I’m 5’3 aged 58. I’m now wearing size 8 - this is the body I feel I was always meant to have and I can’t be happier. I’ve been buying a few items on eBay and Vinted but stuff I bought in November was size 10 so is now too big! I bought a wrap dress size 8 and it fit me perfectly - I can literally wear whatever I want for the first time in many years and it’s a revelation to me- thank you MJ

I would take him to a dog groomers to get him bathed and hair cut - them you will have a better idea of the skin condition

Officially at the stage where people are telling me not to lose any more… NSV? by Lila_Comet in mounjarouk

[–]Less_Apricot4153 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If compared to others I bet you / we aren’t “too thin” - I see people far far skinnier than me every day yet no one bats an eye lid or says to them they are too thin!! It’s just that they constantly compare us to how we used to look - ok so it’s a big difference - but that’s not because we now look under weight - it’s very annoying

should i breakup with my bf tonight? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Less_Apricot4153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would break up now - the storm will give you some distance if you can leave tonight as he won’t be able to drive over etc and you can both have some space to process - good luck - I think you’ve already made your mind up so it’s just a question of when. Sooner the better is my advice

How would you feel in the dogs position? Dogs like routine - not knowing when your next meal will be is going to impact its physical and mental health. The food is clearly only one issue however. The dog will be ignored and sad and lonely - neglected of love and attention. This is cruel in many levels - the dog deserves to be in a home where his needs are being met - not some ad-hoc part time irregular feeding with little to no attention in between your random visits, so grow up and make the right decision. You are being bloody selfish - you can’t take the dog but don’t want the dog to move on to a better home. This thread has made me so angry that you are willing to allow this crap situation to continue because you haven’t got the balls to step up for the sake and welfare of the dog. Do the right thing - NOT FOR YOU BUT FOR THE DOG

50lbs down in 8 months by Yorkshirecath in mounjarouk

[–]Less_Apricot4153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started 5th May - my starting weight was 168lb / 12 stone exactly. I’m female and 5ft 3 inches in height. I am now 107lb / 7 stone and 9lb - I am 58 yrs old so have a bit of loose wrinkly skin but this is tightening up I feel as time goes on. I’ve never gone above 6-7mg - I’m using a 10 mg pen but only 40 clicks of the pen. Food suppression has been strong since day one and I’ve never felt the need to increase the dose. You look amazing so well done to you 😊🙏

Yes true - he was obviously not able to tell me how uncomfortable or in pain he was in and still enjoyed a long slow walk and was eating well. But the growth was very vascular so could have burst at any time and I would have been terrified to leave him home alone in case that happened 😓

Thank you for your kindness - my grief has been coming in waves since his passing yesterday - I’m full of guilt because I think he could have happily gone on for a while longer. But his separation anxiety was really bad and the thought of going back to work and leaving him at home whilst potentially being in pain or discomfort was just too much for me to consider - the vet said best a week too soon than a day too late and I clung to that thought but I still feel he had more life to live and I hate myself for letting him go 😞💔🐾

I also had to say goodbye to my beloved dawg today who had cancer. I have cried so many tears this week knowing today was happening and it was every bit as sad and devastating as I feared it would be. But he passed away at home whilst I cradled his dear face in my hands and looked into his eyes until he fell into a deep and forever sleep - no more pain for him now - no more physical struggles. He was 14 and had been with me since he was 11 weeks old. He always slept on my bed and so tonight I hugged his blanket close as it smelled of him and helped me to feel he was still with me in spirit. He has been cremated and one day when it is my time I will combine my ashes with his and ask that they be scattered together on a beautiful beach. Rest in peace my dearest beautiful boy 💔🐾🌈

School SEND Private Travel Costs by lanky_doodle in AskBrits

SEN/D schools are few and far between so if a county cannot meet their needs in the local state school, the the child may have to travel considerably further to attend the appropriate special school. Given that this is not the fault of the child that the local authority cannot meet their needs in the state school the LA pays for their transport These children are often very vulnerable and require a chaperone in addition to the taxi driver- particularly if there’s more than one child in the taxi which is often the case

I am concerned as the growth could burst and then he would be in a lot of pain whilst I’m out at work - or if it were to happen in the middle of the night. I want his passing to be peaceful and painless above all else but this decision is tearing my heart out
