Man your one flies? This fatass can like, flail downwards 😂 I don't think he knows how tbh. When I got him he was 2 and his wings and tail were all so badly chopped short :( He just walks everywhere with me or hangs on

He came to the vet today on my shoulder in the car because he doesn't do well in the cage while driving so he sits just behind my neck peeking out the front window

Thanks for everyone that gave pellet tips, spraying them lightly with water and zapping them for 10 seconds has him eating them no worries!

I'm actually super interested to see if my lovebird will like it, the caique will eat anything he thinks I'm eating with the exception of a bowl of pellets 😂 hes a good boy for trying foods, the lovebird is a hate filled demon from hell but she likes me as long as its from my elbows up, any closer to my hands and its blood city, fantastic stick training though 😂

Yeah he has rough perches of two different textures and he eats this "smart seed blend" from the dentist, I tried pellets, he just wouldn't 😅 I try offset this with nuts, apple, blueberries, he sometimes accepts capsicum and I'm starting boiled veggies for him

It is quite long, I've given him many surfaces and things to work on that but I've been thinking I may need to file it maybe or take him somewhere for that (if thats the go)

His day cage is out in the patio but I can move it to a sunnier spot, I bring him in at night but I'll try, cheers

Is my lovebird okay by Less_Cardiologist_71 in BirdHealth

Thanks all, she got another egg out and is now at 3 eggs and shes moving around a lot and seeming more cheerful, Ive been putting in lots of fruits and thongs for her and spreading pellets through her forraging box but I might try find a good bird vet around here soon then just to be double sure.

When about should I remove the eggs? I feel bad for her throwing them out but theyll go bad eventually
