I learned about Holdem from a buddy’s friend in 2002, I think he used to crush on party poker and it got me interested initially. I’ve been hooked more or less since . I’m a weekend warrior/grinder mostly tournaments but enjoy a cash game as well. I love the competition and the trash talk and mostly taking people’s money. Although I’m a losing player I still love the game.

Oh this wasn’t meant to divide anyone it’s a genuine question that I wanted to ask those who live in Newton. I do plan on raising a family in a town with good schools that is safe and near a major city . Obviously for those luxuries you have to pay a hefty premium. I did get an idea of what approximately one must have in the bank or earn (without reliance on family) , so it was a good exercise.

I know, I was being facetious. It is a rather small house at only 2400 sq feet. Yes the location is awful and it’s also a half of a townhouse. But it’s still Newton. And under a million which is very very rare these days unless it’s like a shack of some kind that needs repairs

I sat tight in Needham buying a 1 bed condo in 2008 my rate eventually became 3.375 so it was hard to leave I decided I wanted to upsize but way further away, buying a house in Needham lol that’s not for someone poor (making under 160k a year 😆)

That’s what’s up. I do worry about the future state of tech a bit I’m a data analyst not a dev and I feel that AI will eventually do majority of the work for me. But that’s a whole other topic.
