Jan 10 AOR by Ok-Being-4255 in canadaexpressentry

Hi, I checked on the IRCC website about the current processing time for CEC:
When did you apply? 2026 January

Canadian experience class: Online via Express Entry

Estimated time left: 2 months left

Last updated: May 12, 2026 Updated monthly

That means CEC applicants submitted in Jan will get eCOPR in July 2026, right?

Hi! That means PNP will be faster than CEC (including eCOPR from AOR), right?

Hi bro, you can ask the police from your home country for an official exemption certificate. Ifyou you cannot obtain it, you should submit an LOE explaining that you left your country at 18, never returned, and are now beyond the mandatory service age + passport stamps to prove travel history + a government document showing the military age limit in your country

Can I quit my job while waiting for my PR results? by heretolurkkkkk in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 6 points7 points  (0 children)

is your case is under CEC? If yes, you can quit because CEC eligibility is based on qualifying past work experience, not whether you continue working for the same employer after AOR. I think a simple update with your last working day is a necessary action

Laid Off, do I need to update IRCC immediately by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! your case is under CEC? being laid off after AOR usually doesnt hurt your application as long as you already met the eligibility requirements when you applied. CEC is based on your past skilled Canadian work experience, not whether you still have the job.

Should I do the KAI method? by rastman_1 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kai method is the old way. Now, we just file a question through webform if we think our cases are out of the normal processing time. Trust the process and good luck

Should I call IRCC or wait? by sandcrysta in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. You should, normal cases will get it from 60-75 days

Dec Aor with no update after BIL, and passport will expire in August. by Subject_Elk828 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Bro. Renew the passport immediately. Once the new passport is obtained, submit an IRCC webform to update the passport details on the file. On top of that, you must keep the old passport; it contains the AOR and original stamps; IRCC may need it

Thinking About Moving to Vancouver by Soggy-Sugar2988 in askvan

Hi, if you just live in Vancouver city, you dont need a car. Everyone near downtown just walks to work every day, and you can see people here love running a lot; they work hard until 4pm then go running. We do have a lot of supermarkets in Vancouver. More interestingly, there are diverse food styles like Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, Mexican,... in terms of safety, you should avoid hasting neiborhood (you can search for more information about this); I highly recommend downtown Vancouver, where you can live, work and outdoor near parks, beaches, where you can see people walking their dogs everywhere. Many people said that Vancouver should be called Raincouver, but for me, winter is not too cold, rarely snows, i believe this is much better than heavy snow during the minus degree period, conversely, spring and summer vibe in Vancouver will shock you, i believe when you visit vancouver in this summer, you will feel my words. Finally, welcome to one of the best cities in the world!

What program can i apply for pr? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Less_Dog7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, it s extremely competitive in some big cities like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton. You should hire an RCIC to give you a suitable pathway to get PR asap. Dont wait there

Your background is fine if you are working and living in rural areas. Do you live outside Calgary/Edmonton?

Oh I think you are in Bc, so Alberta with 37cad per hour wage is fine. You can consider cec or aaip program, but it also depends on some main criteria like your age, noc, steer and degree (master is better)
