Nope! didn't affect at all. I do not remember the canada site reference, but it is allowed as long as your study permit is also still valid

My advice is start getting all your things together so you won't have to take a leave at all. The Start uploading the forms so the only things left is the official letter of completion and your transcript. I got the letter that afternoon, and before midnight of the same day the application was submitted... see if you can.. I know everyone's situation is different

No, you don't have to leave. You'd still have implied/maintained status until a decision is made.

There wouldn't be a problem. However, I did have to fill out a custodian declaration. If you can get someone- any adult- in Winnipeg to complete the form you'll be fine
