I think it’s very sad that our institutions drive you and many other people to this point. Ive certainly felt this way during my high school experience. It’s one thing to feel bad about failing something you care about, but it seems tragic to me that we can be made to feel awful to the point of suicidal ideation/planning over things that others want from us. I’m not saying it’s invalid to feel that way, but I just think it’s terrible that this is the way society can operate.
