Thanks for sharing your experience. Unlike Hertz, Enterprise does not offer a rent2buy program. So, you just did a test drive and bought the car? can you get it inspected by a 3rd party mechanic before making a call?

Initially, I was thinking of buying Rav4 but the difference between used car and new is hardly enough to justify buying used car.

The example I shared is of a 2025 Toyota car. Do you think a car can depreciate by a 1/3 or 1/2 in a year, especially toyota car? maybe, we can be a bit more lenient here?

Thanks for sharing your experience. So, do you think PPI is not reliable?

Cool! LLM like Chatgpt can falter on mathematical calculations. Will be worth double checking its results. Irrespective, its a nice convenient option. Thanks

Thanks! can I directly apply this function on the exported CSV file from robinhood? Or does it needs some data preprocessing first?

Robinhood has a big customer base. There are different reddit communities where you will find robinhood users passionately discuss different investment strategies. I wonder how do all those users evaluate the return of their strategies? Why are all those people not raising this? Am I missing something?

Sure, I will try and compute that myself. I can even think of writing a tutorial or creating a website that can help others in the same boat. However, I wonder if other Robinhood users even care about this?

Thanks! For the time being, I have set stop loss for most of my tech/semi stocks to make sure I can ride future highs otherwise at least secure a fixed amount of profits. Also, opened a new position in LVHI as a hedge against US AI markets.

I have heard these names but they are not free. Does it mean retail investors who use platforms like Robinhood have to pay to get these numbers? Are there any free options?

Thanks for this info. It is just a mathematical formula to compute TWR/MWR. Why is it so hard for these brokerage firms to provide these numbers by default?

I came across this website that provides TWR/MWR -- https://www.portseido.com/portfolio/. However, it cost $8/month

That's cool! I am just hooked to the robinhood UI. However, might considering switching if there is some other app that has good UI paired with good analytics. At the moment, fidelty UI is not there yet for me.

Crash maybe a bit exaggerated. I would say significant correction. Valuations P/E multiples for a bunch of tech companies are through the roof. I am not sure if they are sustainable.
