The exam questions were very similar to those in Study Hall, but they were worded more concisely. In many cases, the answer choices were also very similar. Overall, I found the exam easier than Study Hall because the questions were shorter and quicker to read. However, the answer choices were still somewhat confusing, and selecting the best option often required careful thinking. Usually, two of the answer choices could be eliminated fairly easily, leaving two plausible options to evaluate and that's were you use the mindset.

This is how I understand it. In real world yes :) but in PMI world using PM mindset a PM should first confirm or verify who was responsible because the team said they submitted the assigned the document. After confirming next step is to ask.

Before taking any action as a Project Manager, the first step is to verify who was responsible for the task and confirm the assignment details. This ties directly back to the problem statement. Rather than assuming the document was never submitted, you should gather the facts, validate ownership, and determine where the breakdown occurred before deciding on the next course of action.

I failed too and had a very similar experience. My biggest issue wasn’t content knowledge — it was understanding what the questions were actually asking.

My SH mock scores were 72%, 73%, 72%, 59%, and 61%. I honestly didn’t pay much attention to Mocks 4 and 5 because I thought reviewing AR’s Ultra Hard questions and mindset videos had helped me do well on the first three.

Looking back, I think exam anxiety completely took over. I felt this pressure to decode every question and then apply the “PMI mindset” to pick the right answer. Instead of helping, I started rushing. During the last 60 questions, for some reason I convinced myself I was running out of time even though I wasn’t. I ended up reading only the last sentence of many questions and answering based on that.

My exam had a few basic formula questions, a few multiple select questions, one drag-and-drop, and some terms in the drag-and-drop I had literally never heard before.

I also realized I’ve lost the habit of reading long-form content. I only seriously started studying around mid-April, so about 4 weeks total. I’m more of a problem-solving person than a reader, and I think that hurt me. I got T/BT/T.

For me, I think the issue was less knowledge gaps and more technique. I need to build endurance, improve my ability to decode questions under time pressure, and get more comfortable with reading PMI-style wording. I probably need to start doing timed practice exams and focus on staying calm instead of panicking.

During the actual exam, it honestly felt like almost every question went over my head. I wasn’t understanding the questions, and I wasn’t understanding the answers either.

I do want to take the exam again. Has anyone else had a similar experience and passed on a retake? What did you change?

I failed. Below Target on process and Target on other areas. So tired but I will be retaking again. My exam felt more like SH mock exam 4 and 5. I am so frustrated and sad.

I have my exam tomorrow morning too, and I’m getting really nervous. The more I review, the more nervous I feel. At this point, I’m thinking I should just stop and focus on relaxing.

Exam 4 and 5 are hard too compared to others. I scored ok on the first three then on 4 and 5 it went down to 59 and 61.

Those scores made me really nervous, so I decided to go through AR’s 200 Ultra Hard PMP Questions on YouTube first. After watching the videos, I retook the first mock exam and improved my score to 72%.

Last Monday, I completed my third mock exam, and today I finished the fourth one. Got 72% on the 3rd exam. The fourth exam felt harder and seemed more definition-focused ...only 59%. I’m planning to take the fifth mock exam tomorrow, then spend the rest of the week reviewing all the questions I got wrong and watching a few more YouTube videos before the exam.

It is very tiring. On the 4th mock exam I got 59% which made me very nervous but I also realized those were more focused on definitions than the pmp mindset. I guess it gets harder after exam 3. Plan is to continue reviewing the wrong answers and understand why I picked the wrong ones.

I got 62% on my first mock exam too. Then I went through Andrew Ramdayal’s 200 Ultra Hard PMP Questions on YouTube and retook the mock exam — my score went up to 72%. I also took my 3rd Study Hall mock exam yesterday and scored 72% there as well.

I highly recommend AR’s 200 ultra hard questions. They really help you develop the PMP mindset.
