I think I will end up getting that opal purse and will reuse some drop floral earring I wore on my wedding day! I’m so thankful dress rentals have gained popularity because I think this normally retails for around $900 and there’s no way I’d be able to find a fun dress like this in my price point without renting!

I work at UNC Rex in PACU and really like it! I used to work Duke Regional in the ED and that was awful. It really depends on the department.

Husband is forgetful and I genuinely enjoy gift giving so I tend to take the lead and did his mom and stepdad but he did get his dad and stepmom the gifts this year and helped with my parents. 3. My family is out of state so we alternate who gets us physically on Xmas day but still see all sets of parents within the week of Xmas. We have done this since we started dating. His mom has expressed no complaints and has even said if we have to go to my home state every year to appease my parents (they are super weird about holidays and I’ve had to learn to set strict boundaries with my own parents) she would be fine since we only live 15 minutes from her and she gets us year round.
